Newlyn School of Art return to Tremenheere Gallery to present an end of course exhibition for their year-long Professional Landscape programme. Sėntinėl presents works by 21 landscape artists across both floors of the Gallery.
Speaking about the exhibition, the group say: “The artists in the sėntinėl show are passionate about the landscape and the world we live in. Standing as sentinels, guarding our landscape for future generations and for the environment around us. As a collective we feel it is important to witness and record the landscape around us, record the history of the land, rising sea levels, drought, pollution, and the continued devastation wreaked by humanity through greed. Please join us for what will be an extraordinary and interesting show”
Sėntinėl will launch with a private view on Fri 26th Sept, 5 – 9pm – all welcome to attend, no need to RSVP. The exhibition will then be open on Sat 27th & Sun 28th Sept, 10am – 4pm. Entry to Tremenheere Gallery is FREE.
